Two years ago HERE I rather brilliantly pointed out that both Only Fools and Horses and Seinfeld, about a decade apart, used the comedy trope of "character gets blood test results back and thinks 'negative' is a bad result and reacts thusly'", and now I remember we can add The Office to this ever-growing list of sitcoms using this trope.
