I feel like there's been a paucity of excitement in pointing out whenever a pro athlete does something incredible that makes them the first person born in this century to do it.
After all these years I still seem to really have no idea who or what Kate Bush is.
Paul McCartney's had the same band for almost 20 years now, and while it's clear they're really close and like each other the fact is that at the end of the day, Paul is their boss which means that at any given point of any given day, there may be someone bitching about what an asshole Paul McCartney is.
Why are "passed on" and "passed away" the same thing? Passed on feels like "oh, now they've moved on to a better place in the next world", and passed away feels like someone died and we just threw them off a bridge and that's just about enough about it already.
I don't know what the hell THIS IS ALL ABOUT but I will vote for that guy whether he runs for dogcatcher or president and everything in between.
For all I know the people who know Will Smith will tell you he's a complete asshole who gets what he deserves, but as more time passes I feel bad for him. Chris Rock got smacked for about 1.2 seconds and gets to spend the rest of his days being the "hero" of the story. But Smith has to live forever with the unrelenting sadness that the moment he built his entire career towards is stained and will bring him no joy, or at least not as much as it should have. It'd be like Neil Armstrong dropping the n-word as he was stepping on the Moon. It's just really a bummer to think about, especially when I see shit like Rock & Chappelle seemingly ganging up on Smith. Blech.
I truly don't understand how people don't see the connection between Reagan and Trump, the direct line between the two cult of personalities the GOP have used as Flintstone vitamins to feed their constituents' most vile, cruel instincts.
Here's your Sunday Song du Dump! :)
