The early aughts were a great time for me; 100 Metro was a veritable French salon of music making & dinner parties with smart, funny & talented people. I remember it as always snowing and we all had nothing but time. One record (literally) of the era was Marah's fantastic 20,000 Streets Under the Sky. I remember Dave excitedly sharing his cd Walkman - it was a thing - with me so I could hear some early demos he was working on. One of the songs I loved that didn't make the album was The Rough Streets Below, which you may now enjoy because of me YOU'RE WELCOME PLANET EARF!!!
