Phil Sokolof (which if you squint kinda looks like Phil Sucks a lot (foreshadowing!) is the name of the guy solely responsible for McDonald's fries not being as good as they were prior to 1990, thanks to this asshole's efforts to get people healthier:
Sokolof targeted milk and burgers, and he fought especially hard against fries. Beef tallow was terrible for your heart, he claimed. McDonald’s switched to vegetable oil for their fries in 1990, and while they denied this was in response to Sokolof, he took out ads afterward congratulating himself, and newspapers do credit him with how fast-food chains overall switched to vegetable oil for fries.
Has there ever been one person so singularly responsible for people's unhappiness? Hitler, whoever invented the goddam car alarm and then this shithead, is that the list? And does the G-Spot Guy belong on the opposite of this list, or does he get dinged for bringing it to women's attention in the first place? 🤔🤷♂️
