The Right Wrong Side of History

Article asking the question, "What happened to the asshole who killed Jesus!?!?!"

Long story short, Pontius Pilate was fine. Kept his just gig fine for about another 40 years; this reminds me of the book about British generals who lost the Revolutionary War I read years back. We think they slinked off and led a life of disgrace, but mostly they just shrugged, turned their attentions back to the French and spent decades becoming heroes and collecting medals.

I was also shocked to learn - from Robert Swanson's half-brilliant book - that Jefferson Davis went on to live another quarter century. Got by just fine.

I guess what I'm saying is you can commit some history's worst acts on humanity and you'll be fine. 🤷‍♂️
