Ideas. I Have Them.

I have no real ideas on our giving black people reparations - I'm happy to do it, but any thought of logistics just makes my little brain melt - but one thing I remember reading about in my superslice of superslices Paddy's Lament is the big thing that finally got the British doing something about the Irish famine was pure embarrassment when the US finally stepped in and started to help the Irish. So when I see a headline like this (no reading the actual article for me, thank you very much), I wonder if that could be a trick - I mean, tactic - we start using for anything we wanna get done? Just plain ol' national embarrassment brought on by another nation? 🤔🤷‍♂️
