Xmastime is pouring one out today for Angela Thorn, who enjoyed a long career as British actress but as far as I'm concerned will always be Marjory, Audrey's ever-faithful, sometimes wondering why she should put up with Audrey best friend from the pantheonic To the Manor Born. With her gone, I believe that leaves Penelope Keith - THE INDOMITABLE PENELOPE KEITH - is the only surviving main member of the brilliant cast.

SIDE QUESTION: since tv has been around so long now, is there a list of the last surviving member of hit shows? I mean any character, no matter how small a part, even it's one line in one episode, making them the last surviving person caught on film/video speaking? And could you go deeper - the last living person ever shown within a frame of a sitcom? Like, some random person walking by in a scene from The Honeymooners? 🤔🤷‍♂️
