Ivan Julian & a Giraffe Walk Into a Recording Studio...

I haven't seen him since I left Brooklyn but I still consider Ivan to be a friend that I hope to see sooner than later, and here's a great doc on him and his studio, of which his partner is OG Xmastime buddy Rrthur (YES, ladies, THAT Rrthur!). Years before Ivan got involved I was at that space tons, playing a bunch of shows (my band Hayday rocked Stone Cold Yesterday one New Year's Eve, funk you very much!) or hanging at rocking parties. My movie star turn along with BayonneMike was filmed there. Great, great memories there and it's great to see Ivan in it 🤗

Ivan of course recorded the drums for the classic Hayday album So Far, So Good, So What, oh yeah also was in Richard Hell & the Voidoids and OH YEAH played on a Clash record and oh ffs has a Clash song NAMED AFTER him!!!!! 😜
