Something You Should Know About Me

Before I went to pretend college I was frothing at the mouth, thinking that was where I was finally gonna meet other kids who loved The Ramones as much as I did. I thought this was such a given I spent an entire summer dreaming about spray-painting t-shirts with the brilliant artwork by John Holmstrom for Rocket to Russia; each song would get its own t-shirt.

Spoiler Alert: once I got to college I learned that other than jennie fennell nobody else there cared about the band either, instead clinging to fucking Steve Miller's Greatest Hits with a gusto.
