1. I'm putting the odds of Trump at some point before the 2024 election declaring that people should vote for him because he's the second coming of Christ (if he could in fact stomach making himself the #2 in this scenario) and losing 0 votes because of it at approximately 100%.
2. Is it possible to even imagine that after Trump eventually dies one day his cult members - I mean supporters - will become even scarier in their slavish devotion to him? Will his death spur them on to much greater violence in his name? Laugh now but in his lifetime nobody paid attention to Jesus Christ, and yet a religion (supposedly) based on him has led to millions of violent deaths ever since.
So yeah, we may be totally fucked. But have a great weekend, America!
