We're All Going to Miss Paul Ritter

I'm only now able to watch the last two seasons of Friday Night Dinner, and Paul Ritter's Martin Goodman character has made the leap from "really funny character" to "holy fuck this guy's in the Pantheon of great sitcom characters". I don't know it if took the writers 4+ seasons to really recognize what they had and unleash him more, but man whatever it is it worked and he's absolutely killing me. And yeah, that just makes it that much of a bummer that we're not going to get any more episode because of Ritter dying so tragically young :( but he left a helluva final chapter behind for all of us to enjoy.
