Because the Internet is Bananas...

...we now have access of the audio of The Beatles recording Hey Jude and remarkably, unlike the finished version of the song, Paul's voice somehow sounds exactly like what would become known as Philadelphia Soul, via Gamble & Huff, a few years later in the early 1970s...I can't believe it's even possible to say this but it turns out The Beatles are even more incredible than I thought about 10 minutes ago.
