Besides just being another great 2008 interview from Grant Hart, this jumped out:

STROUTH: at least it guarantees you'll be in the New York Times obituary page
DID it? I wondered to myself, as in who the hell could I possibly wonder to, and of course the internet being internet I can confirm that while of course all of us fans would much rather him still be alive making music yes, Grant Hart's obituary made the New York Times.
