Sports + The Internet = CRAZY

One of the more fascinating Twitter handles I've found in the last year is Honest Larry, a super-duper Boston sports fan around my age who grew up worshiping Larry Bird et al; just in this one morning today from him we learn:

Fun fact: Jamaal Wilkes played Nathaniel “Cornbread” Hamilton in the movie Cornbread, Earl and Me. The movie that gave Cedric Maxwell his nickname.

...as in, one of the most iconic Celtic nicknames came from, of all places, a goddam Laker?!??!!???! AND here's a picture of Bill Mazeroski. John Havlicek & Phil Niekro playing high school baseball in Ohio, all in one frame. Incredible. 🤗
