OFAH du Jour: Special Christmas Edition

This is fantastic and I’m screaming at my laptop for it not being shown here in the US, but the funny thing about the Only Fools and Horses Christmas specials - all 19 of them, some of them movie length - is that while watching them throughout Christmas Day in England has become synonymous with Christmas Day in England itself, almost all of them don’t even remotely mention Christmas. To whit, in order:

CHRISTMAS CRACKERS: this is the ONLY one that is actually centered around Christmas at all
DIAMONDS ARE FOR HEATHER: there’s a tangental sense of Christmas, as Del has the “Yuletide blues” but that’s it
THICKER THAN WATER: Christmas is vaguely mentioned as a reason the Trotter’s father has come back after 30 years, but really barely if at all
TO HULL AND BACK: nothing to do with Christmas
A ROYAL FLUSH: nothing to do with Christmas
THE FROG’S LEGACY: nothing to do with Christmas
DATES: nothing to do with Christmas
THE JOLLY BOY’S OUTING: nothing to do with Christmas
RODNEY COME HOME: nothing to do with Christmas
MIAMI TWICE (THE AMERICAN DREAM): not only is it not about Christmas but they go to Miami whIch as anti-Christmas as I can imagine
MIAMI TWICE (OH TO BE IN ENGLAND): not only is it not about Christmas but they go to Miami whIch as anti-Christmas as I can imagineMOTHER NATURE’S SUN: nothing to do with Christmas
FATAL EXTRACTION: there’s mention of Christmas gifts, and at the very end there’s some Christmas carol singing
HEROES AND VILLAINS: nothing to do with Christmas
MODERN MEN: nothing to do with Christmas
TIME ON OUR HANDS: nothing to do with Christmas
IF THEY COULD SEE US NOW: nothing to do with Christmas
STRANGERS ON THE SHORE: nothing to do with Christmas
SLEEPLESS IN PECKHAM: nothing to do with Christmas
