Is Alex Rodriguez the Katherine Heigl of Baseball?

Katherine Heigl shortly after filming Knocked Up:

Knocked Up was a little sexist because basically the men in the movie get to be lovable and have fun and the women are shrews, humorless and uptight.
This apparently got Heigl blackballed from the movie industry.

Meanwhile, here's Alex Rodriguez on close friend Derek Jeter in 2001:
"He can just go and play and have fun. He hits second – that's totally different than third or fourth in a lineup. You go into New York, you wanna stop Bernie (Williams) and (Paul) O'Neill.
Ever since then Jeter stopped being A-Rod's friend and had no problem completely ostracizing him publicly.

What connects these two quotes/incidents together? THEY WERE BOTH 100% RIGHT!!!! Hell, not only was Heigl's point about Knocked Up correct but it's also the exact premise/theme/basis for every single Judd Apatow movie ever so I mean...? 🤔🤷

So...well I guess that's it...but I'm on it, guys!
