I've read account after account of the American press licking their chops at the idea of The Beatles landing in America, assuming they'd eat these little boy-band punks for dinner; within 8 minutes each one of these reporters had been totally won over by the band's sense of humor and were fans my quote below is correct, they're even "wackier!" and more "Beatle-y" than they even were in A Hard Day's Night. Watching the video from that moment, it's not hard to see why. Just brilliant.
