The genius of Lennon/McCartney was that Paul always knew exactly how he wanted everything to sound on his own songs & could unleash their full potential with his once-in-a-century ear and John didn’t have any of that when it came to his own songs but luckily for him his songwriting partner was Paul McCartney so 🤷♂️.
