John Sullivan, who created Only Fools and Horses and wrote every word, died at the absurdly young age of 64 (the same number of episodes of the show he wrote). He also wrote the prequel, Rock and Chips, the sequel, The Green Green Grass. His first show Citizen Smith is one of my all-time favorites and I was even touched as a young boy over here in America (EASY Fathers!) by Sullivan, as I remember loving the American version of his original Dear John.
