Of course as you people have grown to learn over these many years I've always loved Little House on the Prairie, but watching the Pluto TV channel dedicated to airing every episode in order over & over really makes it obvious how much the show is the original Hallmark Christmas movie. As soon as an episode starts I'm rolling my eyes at this week's absurdity and the record-breaking corniness and then when there's two minutes left I'm bawling like a baby while Pa's welling up "I believe I'm the luckiest man in all of Walnut Grove" for the millionth straight week and I shake my fists at the sky "goddammit they got me again!" and then when the next episode begins it all starts aaaaaaaaaaall over again.
BTW I was gonna make a "here's Half-Pint teaching PA how to masturbate" joke here but out of respect for the métier of the show itself I decided to take the high road instead YOU'RE WELCOME, EARF!
