The 70s-Era Boston Celtics

Even as someone who grew up a huge Boston Celtics fan in the 1980s, for some reason the whole Havlicek/Heinsohn/Cowens has remained a curious mystery to me; they won 2 rings but were oddly stuck between the beyond-iconic Russell Celtics who won 11 titles and the Bird/Parrish/McHale years that not only won three championships but also coincided with the first explosion of NBA popularity on television. Plus they all three kinda looked the same which doesn't help much either.

Is their era the middle child of the Celtics the same way Danny White is the middle child of the Cowboys?
