Last night while you losers were having pillow fights & prank calling Dreamy Jimmy from Chem class (hi Jimmy! 👋), I was putting together a snappy little playlist to celebrate Ray Davies' 80th birthday. I chose one song from each side of every album from their debut through Side One of Preservation Act I (i.e. The Years Ray Could Do No Wrong) and stayed away from the super-duper hits & stuck mostly to more album-y cuts (except for Village Green Preservation Society, you people know I can't keep my paws off the majestic Shangri-La).
