I remember seeing this 20+ years ago when it came on some VH1 special on the Sex Pistols' brilliant album & I've rarely gone too long without thinking about it since; his incredibly dense & surprisingly controlled rhythm playing are a huge part of what makes this album more than just a fucking classic of all-time classics, but a truly beautiful piece of contemporary art that will, partly because of the absolute freshness and energy of Jones' playing, always make it feel contemporary no matter how many hundreds of years later.
