Besides being his greatest acing performance to date - and by that I mean today's date, not the date of when he performed on this episode - George Clooney broke whatever the record was for "pretending to over-earnestly give a shit about something nobody on Earth could possibly give less of a shit about because you know there may be a camera looking at you" while simultaneously obliterating the record for "being that pathetic kid on the bench who never plays but always makes sure the coach can hear him assaulting everybody else within earshot with thoughtless platitudes about the team being more important than the individual player" bullshit. I mean this is some all-time stuff from Clooney here; that weird over-the-top teenage girl hip thing he does at the 0:25 mark is his "frankly Scarlett, I don't give a damn" moment and, dare I say, by then he has certainly earned it.

The only reason I'm not giving this a  perfect 10 is because I have to believe there exists a world out there in which this little slice of pure and absolute perfection, can somehow, even if only magically, be topped; otherwise, what else are we living for if not to strive for what';s outside of our reach? 🤔🤷‍♂️
