Look Out Capitalism, Xmastime Is Gunning for You Now

Why is what we do for work called “making a living” if we’re already alive?

Is this tied to my earlier thesis; if you refer to your job as LITERALLY “making a living” then obviously there’s nothing that can be ascribed as being more important to you, which means I’m *guessing* the phrase was made up by the people who would just happen to benefit the most from people who have been led to believe that the only reason for being alive is working hard to the point that they've coined a term linking the two together and of course these are *I’m guessing* the very same people who just so happen to be the biggest promotors of capitalism, which just so happens to be the United States economic system. 🤔 🤷‍♂️
