It's not that I'm president of the Frank Selvy fan club or even really knew he was still alive, but his name and that 100-point game has been etched into my brain as early as things were ever starting to be etched into my brain; Selvy's one of those guys in the silk shorts shooting a hook from 18 feet out in gymnasiums from dusty black & white photos that I thought were 100 years old when I saw them in like 1983. He's somehow a link from what was before to a future that will probably start start forgetting about him even faster now that he's gone.
