[XMASTIME NOTE] I moved to Brooklyn 25 26 years
ago this past January; throughout the year I'll be noting things, no
matter how small they are in reality, that I remember & associate
with those first few days/weeks/months of living in the greatest city in
the world.
One of my first memories of going to the Turkey's Nest for the first time the night after I moved to Brooklyn is that darts seemed to be a very big part of hanging out there at the time; I remember wanting to snap Rrthur's
(YES ladies, THAT Rrthur) neck in half every time he'd nod his head, "good darts", and I thought they were just going to be a big part of my life as long as I lived there & what's funny is I have no memory of ever even noticing a dartboard in a bar again. This is one of my first memories at 232 Ainslie Street with Rrthur and Mrs. Rrthur, fresh from moving to Brooklyn USA with everything & nothing in front of me all at once.
