Xmastime So Sayeth, So Sayeth Xmastime

People give early tv a lot of shit for being so thin & disposable back in the day as compared to now since we’ve gotten very used to breaking down every frame of every show like we’re Abraham Zapruder but back then a show would come on & you’d hafta follow along/remember everything you’re supposed to remember and then it would end and MAYBE you’d see it again in reruns a few years later; other than that you just had to try & remember what you could, there were obviously no online recaps or message groups etc etc to pore over so maybe tv views of today can fucking relax about shitting on the good, bad & ugly sitcoms that paved the way.
