A Thought on Bruce Springsteen's First Hit on the Charts, HUNGRY HEART

I've never really cared about Hungry Heart; it's a bit of a plodding mid-tempo rocker, the kind of which drives me zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz but for some reason seems to make for big hits that become big stadium singalongs while I go for a piss break. 🤷‍♂️

But this intro Bruce did on Howard Stern the other day should be a painful reminder that - just like I told you people about The Clash's Hitsville UK! - the song could've been an incredible Christmas song! Dammit Bruce! You fucked up Bruce!! 😡😡😡😡
