UGH SNL

As you people know for months now I've been SCREAMING, BEGGING Saturday Night Live to stop with the fucking predictable & never funny weekly cold opens:

Saturday Night Live needs to celebrate its 50th birthday year by pulling its head out of its ass and realizing that every regular sketch of the past week was either good to really really good and their big fucking cold opening sucking up to every previous cast member while continuing to try to get juice out of news that is constantly wrung dry 24/7/365 now so please ENOUGH WITH THESE INCREDIBLY PREDICTABLE & BORING AF COLD OPENS EVERY WEEK!!!!!

Aaaaaaand now it looks like people are finally admitting that just like with everything else, I am 100% correct:

“Washington’s Dream” isn’t topical or edgy; it’s the kind of thing you can imagine Bob Newhart doing. But it sticks in a way the show’s more desperately of-the-moment bits don’t.
DROP THE STUPID CELEBRITY-FILLED COLD OPENS OF THE MOMENT AND DO ACTUAL COMEDY PLEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!
