There really is something cynically vulgar in the Republican's seeming determination to take the single-most repulsive candidate they can find over any normal able & qualified candidate just to show they can; no other entity would've stuck with anybody or anything through so much for so little in return were it not for some grotesque fantasy of...what, I don't have any idea, but it's truly weird.
