In America, rich people don’t pay their taxes but look at the US Treasury & demand they be given as much of it as possible while poor people do pay their taxes and also look at the US Treasury & demand rich people be given as much of it as possible so I guess if you were drafting a pseudo-Modest Proposal you could suggest that the current exponentially-increasing wealth gap is a good thing. 🤔👍
