It's hard to imagine how much more ignoble The Replacements' final act would've been if Slim Dunlap hadn't stepped in to add just maybe about 9% more of a steady hand to the entire production; I've never heard anybody say anything other than he was the nicest guy in the world & I suspect there will be a lot of people over the next few days eager to tell you high highly they thought of him, both as a guy and as a guitar player.
RIP, Slim. 🎸 😢
