I've been screaming for years & years now re: how ridiculous basketball courts have become; the once-proudly minimal & iconic floor - small circle/logo at half-court, nicely painted free throw lane, team name painted on the baseline and THAT'S FUCKING IT! - has given way to "how can we loudly & needlessly shove as much crap onto the floor as possible therein making it not only iconic but a fucking eyesore?" crowd, and right now this is the absolute fucking worst; the Maryland state flag of basketball court design, if you will. 😡😡😡😡
