There's something about buying a pickle at the bodega that makes me feel uber New York-y. Also, I'm slightly embarrassed at how thrilled I was that he let me choose which pickle I wanted. I felt like I was picking out my goddam lobster for dinner. Or a boy picking out his first puppy. - XMASTIME

My nephew loves pickles on his burgers - they're the only thing he puts on a burger, and when he says pickles on his burger he 100% means Michael Scott style 🤣 - so I got a kick outta seeing Popeyes has a limited time "Pickle menu", featuring:

Pickle Glaze Sandwich - A crispy-fried chicken filet coated in a new, zesty pickle-flavored glaze and served with thick-cut pickles on a toasted brioche bun.
Pickle Glaze Bone-In Wings - Slightly spicy, Crispy-fried, bone-in wings tossed in a new pickle-flavored glaze.
Pickle Glaze Boneless Wings - Hand-battered, crispy-fried boneless wings tossed in a new pickle flavored glaze.
Fried Pickles - Pickles battered in Popeyes' signature seasoning and fried until crispy. They are served with ranch dipping sauce.
Pickle Lemonade - A sweet and savory lemonade infused with pickle juice.

I tried the sandwich, boneless wings & lemonade and will relay my critique thusly:

Pickle Glaze Sandwich - not only a total waste of time, but infuriatingly reminds you of how amazing the regular chicken sandwich is

Pickle Glaze Boneless Wings - not only a total waste of time, but infuriatingly reminds you of how amazing the regular boneless wings are

Pickle Lemonade - great! They should 100% keep this on the menu; super-refreshing version of the for-some-reason-socially-unacceptable-to-drink-as-a pure-beverage pickle brine
