OFAH du Jour

Of course you longtime fans of Xmastime know well by now that the legendary Del Boy & the Bar Scene (unlike the motherfuckers who made the video in the link I don't give away the punchline in the name 😡😡😡😡) is considered to be the most famous & funniest Britcom moment of all time. And one of the funny little add-ons that has become iconic over the years is Del's "Drink up Trig, we're leaving!" line, as you can clearly see here:

MEANwhile, I've also seen the Season 1 Christmas special episode Christmas Crackers about 9,000 times as well but it's only just now I notice Del Boy says almost the exact same thing to Rodney after striking out with a coupla chicks (cough) (coughs again); did John Sullivan remember this 8 years later when he wrote the legendary bar scene???? Did he mean to make this conection? 😮

ALSO: Del says "Look. Learn. Listen." to Rodney before going to talk to the chicks (cough) (coughs again), but shouldn't it be "Look. Listen. Learn."?* As in, wouldn't the learning part be the culmination of the other two? Was this a blooper by David Jason that wasn't caught????? 🤗🕺

*in a similar vein it drives me crazy when the credits of a Britcom (this is particular to British shows since a lot of them were written by a single person, unlike the overstuffed American writing rooms) read ________ Person as being "Writer/Creator", to which I'm always screaming shouldn't it be "Creator/Writer"? Don't you have to create it first to then write it???? 🤔🤷‍♂️

Enjoy the video! And YES, you ARE welcome very much!
