The Stephen Colbert Show shuts down next Spring thanks to President Pampers that’s it for the Ed Sullivan Theater, which would make it all such a perfect circle: In 1964 The Beatles walked into the Ed Sullivan Theater and, by all accounts from people at the time, instantly turned the world from dreary black & white to joyful Technicolor, and when Paul McCartney presumably plays the last show at the theater it will close the door on that joy & brightness as Trump drags us back to his dreary world of black & white.
