49 years ago today The Ramones played their first show in England, a seismic event which indirectly led to decades of influence on punk/guitar music and directly led to the formation of both The Clash and the Sex Pistols, whose future members were all at the show. Incredible. I hope somebody does something cool for next year being the 50th anniversary of this.
