While he's the only challenger to Lennon/McCartney I take seriously nobody ever thinks about Ray Davies' singing as being anywhere in the same league as the other two - in fact, one of the many amazing things about Davies is that on every song throughout his vast canon he sounds slightly different, letting the song dictate the voice instead of vice-versa - but I'd say Something Better Beginning is the closest Ray ever bothered to shove his own voice down Mick Jagger's throat. 👏👏👏👏👏
