Tho to be honest you wouldn’t really say Super Hans is in the background, he’s at the table right next to the main antagonist of the scene, but his wordless reactions to Mark’s father throughout are such comic gold that in the end when he delivers his one line it just absolutely crushes; a fucking masterclass in patience and delivery.
