KFC on the BBC

Back in 2007 (YES young people out there that was an actual year of our lord Anno Domino’s Pizza!) I pointed out some of the characteristics a lot of British people seem to share with American Southerners, including their obsessions with tea, shit-talking and bad teeth.

Meanwhile, years now of being a British sitcom fan have taught me that the Brits LOVE themselves some Kentucky Fried Chicken; if I had a nickel for every time I saw a Britcom character ask if anybody wants to "go for a Kentucky?" I'd have a lot of nickels, to say nothing of the iconic yet camon lets admit it gross Nessa & Smithy scene from Gavin and Stacey.

So I think we can safely put a love of Colonel Sanders & his beloved fried bird on the list as well, and yes the entire reason I even thought about any of this is I've stumbled into a DELIGHTFUL BBC documentary from 2014 behind the scenes of KFC, from cashier girls to CEO & everything in between.
