Trump’s Cabinet of Fucking Idiot Avengers (TCOFIA) are proof that the chickens have come home to roost after 25 years of Republicans demanding that intellectual knowledge is of no value & the only “real!” American is one who’s dumb enough to believe it, but in the past it was always tacitly agreed that whichever fucking idiot they put in charge was just a figurehead/mouthpiece while the real people beneath them did the actual work; RFK Jr. is the best current example of this fairly new “this guy’s rich so he must know everything” disease as the problem’s not that he’s head of the CDC, the problem is he thinks he earned it & so instead of hitting the beach and showing up to collect the attaboys at the end he actually thinks he understands science more than (checks notes) (checks notes again) scientists, which is literally going to get thousands of people killed. Awesome.
