This is a bit of an old joke, Larry Tesler died a coupla years ago, but it reminds me of a joke from one of my greatest comedy influences of all time, Late Night with David Letterman: The Book:
Martin Levine has passed away at the age of seventy-five. Mr. Levine had owned a movie-theater chain here in New York. The funeral will be on Thursday. At 2:15, 4:20, 6:30, 8:40, and 10:50.And both jokes are great!! π€πΊπ€£π€£π€£
I’ve ripped this entire book off for 35+ years & hope to do the same for the next 35+. π€πΊπ€£π€£π€£
NOTE: I’d never say David Letterman really was a big influence on me, but this book definitely is on my all-time Top 10 Comedy Books list.
