Thoughts On the Upcoming "Sequel" to The Office. I Have Them.

I'LL BE WATCHING IT & of course will root for its success but I don't have high hopes for Peacock's pseudo-sequel to The Office; I feel like the makers of the show have wildly overestimated how much people care about the template of the show itself when the reality is that after 20 years of obsessive viewing all we care about is the characters; instead of "here's the same kind of office but the people are different" we'd much rather see the Michael/Dwight origin story, for instance.

But hey, you never know.
