Oh FFS du Jour

So a coupla months ago ago NASA was able to remotely fix a problem on Voyager 1, a spacecraft that was launched from Earth in 1977 with 1977 technology and is about to be exactly 1 light-year away from us (that's 6 TRILLION miles, you fucking rubes), which will enable it to continue for billions & billions more miles, and yet if I don't have the exact right cable for any of my Apple devices at any given time I might as well just throw it off the top of a goddam building.
