Of course Trump seems to be under the impression that at no point over the last quarter-century did it ever occur to Putin to take over Greenland in the same way Trump is chomping at the bit to do himself when anyone with half a brain would assume that Putin has thought every possible scenario through and of course would have done it if it didn't involve having to face retaliation from the full force of NATO, which would in normal times include the US, and even an idiot like me is 100% sure that the one scenario even Putin couldn't have planned on was Trump walking in and handing it over to him on a platter, so here we are.
