There’s always been a Republican strategy of spreading incompetence so at to prove their tenet that government is useless & incompetent, but this administration seems to be the first for which "Has Always Wanted to Be a 5th-Year Senior Local Legend" seems to be a requirement.
I wrote that back in November and this article over at Salon today is the first time I've really seen anybody else point out how spectacularly lazy & unaccomplished Trump's people are:
...it’s not enough for right-wing men to be just as unaccountable, lazy and talentless as those fictional villains in uncle-anecdotes. They also require the world to shower prizes on them for their bumbling, second-rate work.
