SNL is So Weird

It's kind of strange to that we all agree it's a Universal truth that:

1. Saturday Night Live has never gotten better; it's been in a permanent stasis in quality for 50 years
2. Lorne Michaels treats his cast with a form of perversely unnecessary cruelty the exact same today as he did the day the show started

And yet nobody ever seems to think the two are somehow connected enough to do something about it. 🤔🤷‍♂️
