Sterling Gold

Even though it was for a sad reason I always love any time Mike & the Mad Dog get together, and of course them taking about John Sterling was a poignantly hilarious trip down memory lane; even I had no idea that not only did Mike & Doggie love making fun of Sterling’s home run calls, which Sterling himself of course loved more than anybody else, but Doggie’s enthusiasm in particular may have spurred Sterling on to do even more of them.

Just an incredible 20 minutes for Yankees fans to be able to listen to (these first 6 minutes were all I could get to post, but it’s available on Sirius); also, listening to them dancing on lasers trying to describe Sterling without using the word “gay" = unanimous Radio Hall of Fame moment, retired & hanging from the rafters. 🤗😭🤣🤣
