Everybody hates lawyers and everybody loves businessmen even though by definition businessmen fight only for themselves and lawyers have to at least pretend to fight for other people; meanwhile, let's check out the last two two-term presidents from each party:
DEMOCRATS
Lawyer - left the country with runaway peace & prosperity, last president to balance the budget & leave a surplus
Lawyer - landed the plane after the worst financial crises in 80 years including the auto bailout, set the record for continuous job growth, the Affordable Care Act
REPUBLICANS
Businessman - was handed a surplus & delivered the Great Recession, wasted trillions of dollars in an illegal war that killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, exponentially accelerated income disparity via tax cuts for rich
Businessman – the first president since Herbert Hoover to leave office with fewer jobs than when he entered, unnecessarily chaotic tariffs, the Iran War, carried out mass deportations, and gutted USAID despite warnings that the cuts could cost hundreds of thousands of lives.
